By participating in the ‘DSW Conference 2020 ticket’ promotion for a chance to win one (two day) ticket to attend the 2020 Disability Support Workers Conference, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

 

Terms and Conditions

1. Standard terms

 

1.1 Information on how to participate forms part of these terms and conditions.

 

2. Promoter’s details

The promoter is Disability Support Workers Conference, per CPL – Choice, Passion, Life ABN ABN 27 009 942 269, 340 Adelaide, Brisbane QLD 4000 (“the Promoter”).

 

3. Who can enter

3.1 The Promotion is open to entrants who respond to Disability Support Workers Conference’s Facebook post by filling out a form on the Disability Support Workers Conference website before 12:00PM on Tuesday 24 December 2019.

 

3.2 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and reserves the right to disqualify any individual entrant or group of entrants for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these conditions of entry.

 

3.3 Entrants must be at least 18 years old to be eligible to enter.

 

4. How to enter

4.1 The promotion runs from Monday 9 December 2019 until Tuesday 24 December at 12:00PM (AEST).

 

4.2 In order to enter the Promotion, entrants must complete the form on the Disability Support Workers Conference website and tell us in 50 words or less about a support worker they think should receive a free ticket to the 2020 Disability Support Workers Conference.

 

4.3 You may only enter this competition once.

 

4.4 Five winners will be selected. Each winner will receive one (two day) ticket to attend the 2020 Disability Support Workers Conference.

 

4.5 Any person who, in the opinion of the Promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry process in any way, or who does not properly comply with the entry process or these terms and conditions is not eligible to win.

 

4.6 All online entries must be submitted by no later than 12.00PM Tuesday 24 December 2019.

 

5. Promotion

5.1 Each entrant is limited to one entry.

 

5.2 The Disability Support Workers Conference are giving away five (two day) tickets to attend the 2020 Disability Support Workers Conference.

 

5.3 Five winners will be selected. Each winner will receive one (two day) ticket.

 

5.4 Each two day ticket is valued at $200 each.

 

5.5 Two day ticket includes entrance to the 2020 Disability Support Workers Conference on Tuesday 18 February 2020 and Wednesday 19 February 2020.

 

5.6 Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

 

5.7 Prize value is correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prize items.

 

5.8 By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to be contacted by the Disability Support Workers Conference organisers, CPL – Choice, Passion, Life and Multicap in relation to this Promotion and future Disability Support Workers Conference promotions.

 

5.9 Entrants acknowledge that this is a one-off Promotion and will not be conducted by the Disability Support Workers Conference or CPL – Choice, Passion, Life on a regular basis.

 

5.10 The decision of the Disability Support Workers Conference in relation to the Promotion, including a decision in relation to the prize draw, is final and the promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Promotion.

 

6. Determination of winner and prize

6.1 The prize draw will occur at 340 Adelaide St Brisbane QLD 4000 on Monday 6 January at 12:30PM (AEST).

 

6.2 The winners will be selected based on their 50 word responses from the valid entries received.

 

7. Winner

7.1 The winner will be notified by the Disability Support Workers Conference by Friday 10 January 2020. Details of the winning entries may also be published on the Disability Support Workers Conference website and social media pages.

 

7.2 The Disability Support Workers Conference will contact the winners and provide instructions on how to register for their tickets.

 

8. No liability

8.1 Entrants are solely responsible for ensuring the correct email address and contact details are provided for notification of winning.

 

8.2 Online private message entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network, or lines, servers, or telephone or internet providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s handset or computer related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this Promotion.

 

8.3 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event that prevents or significantly hinders the Disability Support Workers Conference’s ability to proceed with the Promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Disability Support Workers Conference may in its absolute discretion cancel the Promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to State Legislation.

 

8.4 The Disability Support Workers Conference, its employees, agents, contractors and sub-contractors will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.

 

9. General

9.1 You agree to be contacted by the Promoters about the promotion and to participate in the Promoter’s publicity activities as reasonably requested, including being photographed by the Promoter for use by the Promoter in future marketing and promotional activities, without any fee being paid to you.

 

9.2 These terms and conditions do not exclude or limit the application of any statutory provision (including a provision of the Australian Consumer Law) where to do so would contravene that statute or cause any part of these terms and conditions to be void.
