Anna has over 25 years’ experience in local, state and federal government environments. She is a strategic advisor and mentor known for delivering business and board improvements through governance and culture.
Anna holds strong business capability across human resources policy and practice, corporate governance, ethical standards and investigation, health and safety, audit and risk, ICT, public policy, customer service, organisational change, asset management, multicultural affairs, business continuity planning and disaster preparedness.
As an experienced public-sector executive Anna has led teams of up to 500 people and managed budgets of $10-140M. She has led major change projects and delivered transformational outcomes through business simplification, boosting employee engagement and refining strategic alignment.
Anna has a demonstrated ability to synthesise complex issues, negotiate strategic direction and provide high quality advice. She works collaboratively to foster productive partnerships and
takes the time to understand the competing interests of diverse stakeholders. She is a considered decision-maker and engaged and innovative contributor in a board environment.
Anna holds a B Comm (Human Resources) from Griffith University, is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and Member Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is an Appointed Member of the Appeals Tribunal, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a non-executive Director and Deputy Chair Finance Audit and Risk subcommittee at Inala Primary Care and QLD/NT representative for Women on Boards.
